Welcome to our studio and Art Student Academy. We're award winning art professionals who not only create art for a living (over twenty years each!) but delight in showing you how to create your own art. We have the best of both worlds!

We have encouraged thousands of students over the years to experience Art without Fear! Our art classes are known for their fun, creativity, broad range of mediums and for the end result-amazing art!

We built our working studio next to our home just north of Wake Forest after salvaging the beautiful pine flooring, windows and doors from a 1910 Wake Forest house. There you will find us busy painting and creating fine art portraits in oils, pastels, watercolor and pencil as well as unique oil paintings for our collectors. The 10 foot ceilings, large windows and surrounding herb and rose gardens offer the perfect atmosphere for our artistic energy! Add a few ponies, goats and numerous dogs and you have a type of artist mini-farm! Chickens are now here along with a hive of honey bees.

Meanwhile most of our two hour classes are held in beautiful downtown Wake Forest at the Wake Forest Art and Frame Shop. There you can experience our tips and techniques, enjoy individual instruction, the company of others having a good time.... It just doesn't get any better than this!
