Summer Art Programs - 2012

Our 2011 Summer Art camps for children were a HUGE success! So for 2012, we have two super Art camps scheduled for two age groups at our large, beautiful working artist studio outside Franklinton, just a short hop from Wake Forest!

At this country location we can spread out in both the studio and under the trees at our mini farm and enjoy an environment of nature, gardens, art and fun! Animals on farm include ponies, goats and assorted spoiled dogs.

Painting Camp at Art Student Academy 

June 11-15

A wonderful opportunity for kids to explore and have fun with an array of paint and painting techniques! We'll delve into watercolors, pastels, acrylics and oil paint by painting a variety of subjects and experimenting with creative techniques designed to encourage and excite the artistic process in your child!

All work goes home with the student.

Ages 8-11, 9:30 am-12pm $130.00

Ages 12-15, 1:00 pm-3:30 pm $130.00

Sculpture Camp at Art Student Academy

July 23-27

A fun filled week creating 3 dimensional sculptures using various materials designed to get those creative ideas flowing! We'll experiment with Sculpey clay and air dried clay, use of molds, duct tape sculpture, textures and metallic patinas to create unique works of art! A fascinating experience at turning 2-D ideas into 3-D reality!

Ages 8-11, 9:30 am-12:00 noon $130.00

Ages 12-15, 1:00 pm-3:30 pm $130.00
