It's back! Stephen Filarsky's popular workshop on creating small paintings in oil or acrylic with big results! Participants will create delightfully rich and vibrant scenes on 4x6, 5x7 or similar sized canvases (or boards) that offer big results to the artist of all levels. Learn how easy it is to further your skills and techniques as well as your painting enjoyment by creating a painting a day. You will leave with at least 2 completed paintings!

Supplies to bring:

Students should bring their own reference photos or drawings (assorted landscapes, barns, cityscapes, gardens, etc.) to refer to.

Oils or acrylics: Titanium White, Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue, Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Red Light, Yellow Oche, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Yellow Light, Sap Green

Optional Colors: Thalo Blue, Thalo Green, Cadmium Orange

Canvases or Boards (4) 4 x 6

Palette or Disposable palette

Brushes of assorted sizes

If painting in oils: Odor-free thinners,

Paper towels, Gamblin Neo-Megilp, palette knife, easel or table top easel.
