TREES WORKSHOP

Landscapes have been called portraits of trees. This workshop we will be looking and drawing the form and growth of trees. We will take advantage of this winter season by working on the underlying structure. The trunks and branches and twigs. How the grow the way they do and the differences between types of trees. We will look at the texture of the tree trunks, the different types of bark. Learning how trees grow will allow you to paint more realistic trees - no more lollipops.

Plus we will look at the actual colors of the trees and colors to use to paint realistic trees.
